Yes.... usually from the default report in a Table view. Sometimes from reports on dashboards and the like.

Qrew LegendI'm sure that you know that they can use the little pencil icon to open in edit mode. What if we make them a larger URL formula butotn to let them more easily open the record in Edit mode.

Set the field to show as a button with "Display as a button on forms and reports" and choose a bright color.

Yes exactly, a new field. Make a new field of type Formula URL and paste in that formula.
Then put the button on the report.

Yes, it will open record in edit mode using the form specified in Forms Usage for edit mode for the the Role the user is in.
