Opt out of email notification to all users in a role

Question

I have my users grouped in roles.&nbsp; I have email subscriptions that send to all users in a role.I have one user who would like to opt-out of one of the emails, but I need him still to be in that role for access purposes.&nbsp; How do I set the "Deliver to" field on my subscription to exclude him?

The email seems to still send to him, but with an empty table.&nbsp; (For the other users, I need them to get the emails, even when empty, which is why that selection box is checked.)
Did I do something incorrectly?

It is unusual to send an email to users with an empty report. My solution will only work if the checkbox is unchecked.

We kind of use that as the reminder.&nbsp; If the email comes in blank, then the user knows he needs to take action in order to be paid.
