Overlapping Time formula

I have a bunch of records which include a name, start time, start date, end time, and end date in each one.  I want to make sure that none of the records overlap in time.  There can be gaps, but I need to highlight any overlaps.  How can I do that?

  • So the answer I received is that it cannot be done in QuickBase.  There is no report that will show it graphically, and there is no way to calculate it either.

The only solution is to take the big table and your highlighter and go down it manually to find out if there are any overlapping times. (Or use a spreadsheet).

It may be possible to do with the scripting solution. If you have some kind of budget for that then contact me off-line and we can try to get a ballpark cost on it.
