Is it possible to change your own user permissions, aka give yourself the ability to change due dates?

- If you have Admin level to an app you can change your own permissions by changing the role you are in or changing the permissions for the Admin Role.
But if you change the role you are in, you may lock yourself out of the app. - This sounds like a very specific question regarding the app that you use. I'd ask your account / app administrator.
but if you are looking for a way to force change your role, you can possibly do it through the API.
