Hi Jonathan - the current record picker drop down defaults to a pop-up dialog over a certain number of entrees. Come Sunday though, all record pickers will be moved to our new search and type ahead picker which you can read about more in our release notes.
Does this capability extend to a report field that is set to <ask the user>?
