Possible to have an editable report link, and disable view/edit of the record?

I have a report link that is editable, that I want users to be able to edit using the editable report link on the parent, but then when viewing the report, not be able to edit or view the actual entry...

So, you'll need to create a standard Table Report on the child table and then on that report, disable the View and Edit options. Then, you would use that report as the display option for the Report Link field on the Parent.
