Posting data to Quickbase - what's the best option for ease of use?

Hi, I am using Qualtrics for surveys and questionnaires and want to map this data to Quickbase.

I have the option of selecting XML, JSON or URL Encoded as a key value pair for mapping.

Am I able to use JSON with Quickbase? Any advice on what is the easiest to work with?

One thing I noticed is that JSON and URL Encoded allow me to use "Key" and "Value" pairs or "Free Text" entry which would be a block of code. 

Key/Value pairs seem to be much easier because they allow for values to be selected from a prepopulated list {a}...
 
Also, if I use anything other than XML, does it have to be done through a Pipeline?
