Quickbase Notifications to Leaders

How do I setup notifications from Quickbase for Timecard Approvals, Meal Break infractions etc.

  • Are you sending them to internal users or external contacts? If you go into your table settings where these entries are occurring you can create notifications that go to specific users or roles within your app - or you can make it an open email that you can send to non-Quickbase users as well. Each table will have their own setup for notifications that you can setup.

      In the past the leader and direct report would receive an email notifying them that a timecard was not approved or that a meal break was less than 30 minutes for non-exempt employees.   There would still be value in receiving the notification as it would eliminate having to check the porthole daily for activities.

        Did you have these emails previously and they're not longer working? It sounds like you previously had these but users are no longer receiving them based on your most recent comment.

        Have you checked in the Notification settings to make sure that your emails such as those above are 'Active' and that the Notification owner is still a valid user in your system? If you recently denied a user that created the notifications they may have stopped and need to be re-assigned to someone else.
