QuickBase Reports Help

Hi all, new to QuickBase but not new to database tools.

I'm trying to build a specific report within QuickBase. In Tableau it's called a Bowling Sheet. A non-propriety example looks like this:

Ive been able to get sort of close in QuickBase by using the Summary Report, and I can group columns by Month to achieve the same result, but my issue is that it's giving me a COUNT of the data that's being reported instead of the actual value of that data. I'm sure it's something stupid/easy that I'm overlooking, but I'm stumped.

Any help would be appreciated.

  • I think I need some help understanding your question. For example, when I look in your Screenshot for "Percent exceeding ....... medicare mean and there is a 1 in July 2025, what are you expecting to see there?

  • Well in the section for configuring the Summary Report for the "Summarize Data" section, it lets you select what to summarize.  So select the field(s)  that you want to summarize, typically selecting by Totals. You can hover to the right to add more fields to summarize.

Maybe that's where I'm getting this wrong. If you look at the attached screenshot, I don't actually want to summarize anything, per se. So the fields that show "1" for the goal counts should display the actual reported value, not the count of values.

I think the issue is it's showing you "1" like 1 total record, rather than the value contained in the field on that record - right? Maybe change "Summarize By" to Totals in the settings for that report:

If that doesn't work, I think you need a separate formula field to get the values and display them.
