I am using formula - text. I do see the checkbox. I do already have one duplicate.
I thought checking "check for duplicates" would take care of that, but instead the specific message I get is:

Update: I deleted the duplicate record and I still get the error.

------------------------------- RachelJones5 years agoQrew CadetWhy, yes, now that you mention it! It looks like Related Ad Format was a lookup field. We had changed the key field for that table.
I changed my formula to reference the key field instead, and now it works! Thank you!

------------------------------- RachelJones5 years agoQrew CadetWell, shoot. It allowed me to save, but didn't do what I wanted. I was able to create a duplicate record and I cannot set the composite field as key.
Is there a normal QB way to do composite indexes for a joining table?
