OK, maybe a new plan.
How about setting up an Automation to fire when a child record Status is edited and a summary field lookup of the # of child records Approved is equal to a summary field lookup of the # of total child records. Or if you prefer, make a formula field that calculate that and then lookup that checkbox field down the the children.
That Automation can edit the Parent Project record and update a field called [date/ time to fire Notification that all children are approved] with the value in the formula field [Current date/time] - formula is now()

Hi Mark,
Should the automation trigger be based on a change in the child or parent record?
Also, how do I direct the automation to only edit the parent record and not all records that meet the same condition (# of child records = # of child records approved)?

- MarkShnier__You4 years agoQrew ChampionThe Automation needs to trigger based on the records being changed, which in your case is the child records. The automation will update the parent. The automation can be filtered to only update where the record ID of the parent matches the related parent value in the child.
The actual notification will fire from the parent record when the automation changes it.
