np,
just edit the field [Related Tuoro Invoice[] and set the Proxy field to be [Invoice#].

Then make sure that [Invoice #] is on the form and that [Related Tuoro Invoice] is not on the form..

  Initially when I tried to fix it, I deleted all of the lookup fields. I think that erased the link between tables. However, when I go to the form to try to re-link them, there is no drop down menu on for [Related Touro Invoice] or [Invoice #] for me to select the related parent entry.

    You can only assign a Proxy to a lookup field. Is invoice # now a lookup field?
