Recent Updates In Role Permissions?
Is anyone aware of any recent changes in overall role permissions? In our main app I have an "admin" role and a "limited admin" role. The difference between the two is very limited and they are mostly used to hide unnecessary buttons and features from certain users to simplify their interface. As the developer, I also use these to hide pages that are still in development stages and not ready for use by all users yet.
As of some time recently (the first report I received was last night) two functions that use scripting & API calls to update a DB page before redirecting users stopped working for limited admins but not full admins. I have found that the required information is pulled from the DB and everything appears to be functioning right up until the DB page is supposed to be updated with the new information. Users are redirected (which is supposed to happen when the page update is "successful") but the page is not actually updated. I see no relevant issues in the console when loading the page and prior to recently, this function worked perfectly for users in both roles. I looked through both March and April's release notes but did not see anything that seemed relevant. Any ideas?
