Removing the Save & Close button based on another field

Hi there,

I have a simple project management app where customers can go to add requested work. However, we sometimes get requests that should go to another team. In order to help mitigate this, we've provided radio buttons for someone to select what they are requesting and if they request a task or project that would need to go to another team, we give them a pop up that says so. But there is nothing keeping them from blowing past the pop-up and saving the record anyway (which they do often).

Is there a way to hide the save and close button in the header if a particular radio button is selected?

  • There is not a way to suppress the buttons, but you can have a form rule very similar to the conditions that display a pop up to say that when the record is saved and those conditions are true, then Abort the Save and display a message.
