Renaming Current Fields

Hey Everyone, 

Quick Question, I know how to use alternate field labels on forms. The question that I have is there a way to rename a field in the system without using an alternate label?

    Yes, just edit the field properties for the field and change the name.  Everything will stay glued together just fine as under the covers, Quick Base does not actually use the field name.
