Report Formula Question

I am working with a report of tickets and I am trying to calculate the number of tickets for each date and the number of tickets completed with issues .  Is there a way to create a field in the table or use a report formula to perform these calculations?

    I suggest that you make a formula called [Ticket had Issue count]

    Then make a formula numeric field which calculates to either a 1 or a 0 depending on it if had an issue or not.

    Then use that field in a report.

      Already have that part handled.  What I need to do is calculate the number of tickets per day.

        Well, you can either just make a Summary report and group by day or else use excel to load up a table for all the dates for the next 10 years, set the Key field to be the  the Date field and then make a Relationship back to the Tickets table  Then use summary fields to calculate various totals like # of Tickets and Tickets with Issues. ​
