Report Totals

Hello,

I'm trying to see if there is a way to be able to "Use" the TOT numbers on an embedded Table Report for formula purposes. I have multiple departments for a Job showing up on a Table Report that has each departments Job Budget and Contract Amounts that Are then being totaled by the Table report, I'm trying to use those TOTALS from the Report to get Gross Margin for that job, but can't seem to access those totals, or even be able to add up each field separately since they are only two fields being added up by the Report.

Any thoughts?

    The totals on a report only exist within the report. Quickbase is in the process of increasing the ability to do calculations within a table without requiring Summary fields built on Relationships, but until then, the only way to get a usable Total of a Field is to build a Summary of that field from the Child table to the Parent table.
