Save as spreadsheet and keep line breaks?

Is it possible to keep line breaks when you save to a spreadsheet? I have a formula rich text field with line breaks ("<br>"), but this exports and instead of a line break, just says <br>. Is there any trick to making that work? Or since it is a CSV file, by definition can it not export the line breaks?

If not, I suppose I can use a "/" or something similar.
