Select Child Records from within Parent Form

I have a Quick Select technique that I have implemented for many clients. It usually takes an hour to set up. You would launch off a The Parent record that that Record ID# is recorded in a User Focus table where the Key field is userid.
Then the screen landed the user on a report you specify, for example a table of orphan children looking for parents.
It's just a table report so you have full the usual full access to dynamic filters and the filter box.
The user will click click click on as many orphans as you like to quickly create the child records, and then there is a link to get back to the Parent so the user can see, that indeed the children did get attached.
