Slack Integrations -- Slash Commands
Slack has built in slash commands that are useful for doing things like scheduling Gcal right out of slack or pre-populating an email with info , or any number of tasks.
Quick Base has a Slack pipeline, and added or updated records flow smoothly into slack messages.
What I want to know is if anyone has successfully built custom slack commands so they could add, edit, or view records straight from Slack. I'm picturing something like:
/update [Job ID]'s [Field] to "new Status" (where Job ID is a key field).
Anybody tried this? I believe it is possible but I lack the Webhook/JSON knowledge to really know if it is even possible.
