5 years agoIs the relationship setup properly? Do parents have child records that you can see on the parent record? Do children have lookup fields to "prove" that they are children of the parent records?

- AlexBennett35 years agoQrew TraineeMaybe I have this set up wrong. The Idea is that I have two tables, Labor Rates and Schedules. I'm attempting to pull data from Labor Rates into Schedules. Right now Schedules is the Parent Table, with a Summary Field towards that specific fid label name.

OK, yes this sounds backwards.
I think that you should delete that relationship because it seems to be what makes sense is that you have a master table of labour rates and then those rates are pulled into the labour schedules which presumably is where you are scheduling staff to go out and do jobs. So you will want to have just a simple look up for the labour rate and what I suggest you do is label that lookup field as [Labour Rate (lookup)].
And then you will make a field calle Laboir rate and it will be a snapsho o the loopk up fieldf https://help.quickbase.com/user-assistance/setting_up_snapshot_fields.html
The reason for that is that in six months or a year when you adjust the labour rate, you do not want your historical scheduled jobs from the past suddenly change their rate.
