Survey ranking question

I want to create a survey with a ranking question. My first thought is to use a multi-select checkbox that users enter a ranking number system 1,2,3,4,5 in the checkbox. Is this possible or is there another way to create a ranking question?

    You can do an actual numeric-rank field that when you report it, it shows as a star ranking of 1-5. 

    Otherwise a simple text-multiple choice should do fine, and you can have it display as a radio button on forms so users know what the options are. 

    Multi select would not be advised for ranking given that they could select more than one option which would corrupt your ranking.
