- QuickBaseCoachDQrew CaptainJoey, you will need to better describe your tables and their relationships. When you say "based on customer name" are you saying that each customer has uniqiue pricing in the budget table?
- ZintJosephQrew CaptainThe relationship at this point is One Budgetsto Many Surverys. The budget table is not linked to a Customer table but could be. The surveys are tied to a Company table so the company name is there in the survey. At this point I do not believe we would have different budget pricing per customer but you know if you do not think of it now it will happen. Just thinking ahead!
- QuickBaseCoachDQrew CaptainSo back to your question. Are you saying that there is a table with a small list of Budget prices and you want that whole list of prices to be available to use on a survey record, but obviously in separate fields?
- ZintJosephQrew CaptainYes. I have the budget table build and populating from a proxy dropdown. The survey header has the company name and the door type is in each survey line item. There would never be a situation of having two different door types so I could look that back up to the survey header and capture a door type so that it and the company name resides in the header where the budget fields reside. Just not sure how to make that proxy a selection based on those two variables.
Everything works except the proxy selection being automated - QuickBaseCoachDQrew CaptainI think I would need to look at the app to sort that out.
