You can make a new table where the Key field is the Customer Number.
Then make a Summary report to group by Customer number and Customer name and then use the more button to copy these to a another table.
The ones which already exists will just overwrite the existing ones with no change.
If you then need to eliminate duplicates in some other table, you can make a relationship to this unique customer table and make a summary minimum of the [Record ID#] field. Then look that up down to the details table and call it [Record ID# of the first record]
Then the duplicates would be the once where the [Record ID#] is not equal to the [Record ID# of the first record] and the [Record ID# of the first record] is > 0.
