Text Box at the dashboard to capture Projects Comments by Users

Hi, 

Do we have functionality to provide big text box on the dashboard to enter comments for a project table. Project table have a column "Comments" and i want to capture this column entries from the dashboard for each project.

Would like to capture the entries in the form of FROM/Text Box and not through table grid edit entries the dashboard.

    Assuming you mean Home Page as the dashboard, you may want to create a grid edit report and have it sit on your home page. You'll need to pick the correct Project from that grid edit table.

    Unless Projects have a parent relation to Comments, then you would make the grid edit table @ the Comment table.​

      Can i have something like this on the Homepage.. Yes you are correct i am referring dashboard as Homepage here ..

        Yes, you can put grid edit reports either using the Web module of the Page or a Report Module.

        If you use the Web module, make sure you include &ifv=1 as part of the URL for a cleaner presentation
