Text Wdiget display summary data

I swear at one point in my previous job I had some text widgets on a home page that I used to display the number of records that met a certain value, or a total of values from a field.  I had these formatted in a large font with specific colors.  I had a few year break from Quickbase, and now I can't remember how I did that.  For example, if there are 27 total open requests in a table, I want a widget named "Open Requests" that displays the number 27 in a large font colored blue.  Or another widget that would total all values from a certain field and just display it as a large number.  Anyone know how to do that?

    np, just make a Gauge chart report  and then make a "Dashboard" type Page, not a "Home Page" and then put the Gauge Chart report on the Dashboard

        The Gauge chart behaves differently on a Dashboard.  There is just a big square and a number in it. No arc / rainbow circle.  But you still get the effect of the typical stoplight type colors.
