Hi Vivek,
There is not a fixed limit to the number of notifications that can be created on a table. I would say that as the number of notifications go up that does become part of the complexity of your app that contributes to performance as they have to be checked on a save to see if they trigger. They tend to be a smaller impact but still always good to be aware of. Also you would want to be careful from a best practices stand point that one record change doesn't set off multiple emails to the same person(s) with too much overlap if there is a lot of complexity in your app. That can result in people missing emails or getting notification fatigue.
