Use total group from summary report as a field in the same table

Hi,

I'm creating a summary report to calculate how many record has an answer A,B or C. The report works great and it gives me at the bottom a TOTAL, which is the right number. Now what I want do is use that TOTAL as a Field to Calculate a percentage of the TOTAL. Does anybody have an idea on how to do it? Thanks!

  • Are you wanting to do this just in the report or is this a number that you would need to use in other calculations/reports/etc. ?

        If you're wanting to do that just in the report and don't need to use that number anywhere else, you can add a 2nd instance of the field you want to show the % of (Amount, for example) in the 'Summarize Data' section. Then, for the 'Display As' selection, select 'Percent of Column Total'
