Way to Duplicate Tables or Make A Template for a Table?
I might just not be seeing it, but is there a way to duplicate tables or save a template for a table? I need to make 51 tables that are all identical, except for the name and data that will be stored in it. I figured it would be easier to make one and then create duplicates than have to manually build all of them.
I will reluctantly answer your question. But before I do, I think you should really question why you think you need 51 tables. This sounds like a really bad design choice. What does the 51 tables represent? Can't we just have a field on the single table which indicates the division or department or whatever these tables are supposed to represent?
But if you really want to do this when you were on the table home page there is a drop-down on the three dots menu to Copy table. That will copy the fields, the forms, and the reports. But I really have to stress again. It sounds like I really unusual design choice which does does not feel right.
