Work around for 2 report link conflict glitch?

Has anyone figured out exactly what causes the report conflict glitch and how to work around?

Scenario:

I have 2 report links, that look at the same table. One report links' properties are:
If [Field A] = [Similar Field A in foreign Table]

The other link =
If [Field B] = [Similar Field B in foreign Table]

The report links will in some instances show the same records, sometimes not.

The glitch:
One report link does not show they checkboxes (so you can select and delete). They simply aren't there.
The other report link does show the checkboxes, and you can click on them, but the delete button doesn't show up. The delete button shows up on the OTHER report link, without the checkboxes.

Anyone know the details of this behavior?

    I have seen this happen where the delete check box is simply missing and I have never figured out why. Typically when I click the button for full report I do get the delete option.

      I'm fairly confident it has to do with conflicting Report links, that are linked to the same table. Have you ever had the issue with only a single report link?

      If you got to one of your forms where this happens, look on the form for a similar report link (one linked to the same table). Click the check boxes on the first report link, then look at the similar report link. The delete option will show up there.

      It is a known bug. From customer support:

      "I can confirm that you've encountered a report link bug (QBE013984) we have identified on our end. When there are two embedded reports pointing to the same source and target, then all editable report links will break on the form."

      Not sure how I will work around this lol.
