Hello Realm Admin Qrew! Thank you all who were able to attend yesterday’s Realm Admin Qrew Meet Up. Here’s a recap of all we discussed: 1) Ventsi Tasev, Product Manager, did a quick Empower Pro recap of governance and ALM solutions that are coming in the roadmap. Customers wanted to know why the audit log export from the admin console only contains the numerical part of a UID. After doing some research, the numeric part can still be used to identify any unique users. Adding the alphanumerical part to the audit logs is not a simple task that can be resolved at this time, but it has been noted. 2) All user login events have the full UID in the resourceurl 3) Customers suggestions to add UserID in a formula such as UserIDtoUser() is actively being reviewed with the product team. I’m very hopeful about this! 4) Next, Robert Reeise from BCMSMN, shared this Governance Core App experience and what it he worked on with Shawn Renn, Sr. Implementation Consultant, to customize it to his needs. He needed transparency on how many open seats remained when managing users, so Shawn created a solution to auto-calculate and display it on the admin console dashboard. Were you inspired and plan to download the Governance Core Apps after hearing Robert’s use case? Reply to this email and let me know. Would love to hear your thoughts on this. 5) Missed the meeting? I got you! Here’s the recording link below. I have removed the password from zoom meeting links so you just need to click the link below. Shout out to Brittany Scheid for bringing this up as a topic idea during our meet up! Thank you to Robert Reeise, Shawn Renn, Ventsi Tasev, and Josh Miller for sharing with the group. Hello Realm Admin Qrew! Thank you to everyone who was able to attend Tuesday’s Realm Admin Qrew Meetup! It was jam packed with lots of information and updates from our product team, and great feedback from the audience. Here’s a recap of what happened: Rayna Stoycheva, product manager, did a quick recap of the ALM, QBL, and Solutions API that’s currently being piloted. If you weren’t at Empower, this was an abbreviated version of what was rolled out at the time. You can watch the full version here. Ventsi Tasev, Product Manager, made a huge announcement that is exclusive for Qrew members! The ALM Solutioning beta is now open to customers with a Business license or higher and you do not need to have a services or enablement package get it set up and supported. In the past, it was only available to enterprise customers to try. To take part in the beta, please reach out to me or Ben Simon and we can connect you to the appropriate channels. Drew Ditto, Principle Software Engineer, shared an Solutions API to Github use case that dazzled the audience! If you missed it, Here’s the recording to our meeting. Password: e==nX611 And finally, I have a set of questions I would like to ask of the group from our Enablement Program Manager, Kate Barefoot: What obstacles might prevent you from using our Solution feature set to perform ALM in the platform? What concerns might stakeholders have about implementing Quickbase ALM? How can we address these challenges and concerns effectively so that it makes sense to adopt ALM, Solutions API, and QBL at your organization? The goal is to understand your genuine feeling on the ALM solutions, continue to invest in improving these tools, and grow its adoption among customers. Feel free to respond with your answers directly back to me and I’ll be able to share those over. If you’d rather book a meeting and talk, we can do that as well. Anyone got a good governance use case or topic they would like for us to cover next month? Ping me and let me know so I can start planning out the next agenda for the October 1 st Realm Admin Qrew Meetup. Thank you for your time and have a great afternoon!9Views0likes0CommentsProject Intake Form
Hi everyone! bsimon_personalsuggested I post this question here, so I'm hoping someone has something they use! Does anyone have an app that they use for the project intake process? We're trying to develop a way to better capture requests for new solutions (both QB and non) and ask all the right questions up front so we have a better idea of what we're getting into, weighing out the costs, etc., before we just start doing a full discovery and building. We've noticed a tendency of running with ideas without first really weighing out the costs and seeing what software/solutions already exist that could be used, and we're trying to rein it all in. I'm thinking a form that asks things like the below and then enables us to do follow up, create estimates, etc. Thanks! What is the problem you are trying to solve for? What solutions have you explored? What other systems are used for the process where integration may be needed? How frequently would those integrations/syncs need to happen? Who are the stakeholders? How many users will need access? Who will support the solution? Have you budgeted for this/what is your budget?55Views1like1CommentAugust 6th Realm Admin Qrew Meet Up Recap
