Thanks again, Montgomery ------------------------------ Montgomery Hepner ------------------------------ Creating HTML tables - non static dataI would like to group my data in a HTML table sort of fashion. The issue is that the data is not static text rather it is formulas and summary fields. the following picture shows the current state. TIA for any assistance ------------------------------ Montgomery Hepner ------------------------------ Re: I am trying to learn formulas in QB.That is fair, however, I have done that completely and still find that the formula portion is sorely lacking much detail when it comes to being thorough. I will say that they have helped me in many areas, just not that particular area.Re: I am trying to learn formulas in QB.That did it. It must be me, but I find the reference material lacking in that basic information. Regardless, thank you Mark.I am trying to learn formulas in QB.Clearly I am new to formulas.I am trying to replicate examples listed in the Sample Formulas Home. The formula I am trying to work through is:Color rows based on who a user is it uses this example:If([Assigned To]=ToUser("baker@example.com"), "pink", ""). I created a user field and then a formula to display the associated email for that user. My field names are [Salesperson] type: User and then [Email] type: Formula Email What confuses is me is where I place this code. Does it get added to my formula email field? If so, how would the syntax look? Do I create an additional formula field and add my modified code (from the example)? Hopefully this will start to makes sense soon :)Re: employee id log in screenThank you. I went with an EOTI solution and that should work fine for this.employee id log in screenI want to be able to have a log-in screen that uses our employee ID number. These employees do not have access to quick base on their own devices and we are setting up tablets for them to use. They will be shared tablets hence the reason for a log in based on their individual number.Re: Adding URL link from an image librarySo here is a related issue..this is bizarre I added the referenced image to my header and other than squishing it worked fine. Then I decided to see how it would appear in the footer. Now, it took over the entire interface. I can no longer even access the branding area to remove it. Without having to kill this app is there any way someone may know to bypass, kill or otherwise get it out of my way so i can edit the footer settings? Just to be clear I can select the App Home area but as soon as it loads I only get the footer image.Re: Adding URL link from an image libraryThank you Harrison, that fixed the issue.Adding URL link from an image libraryThe process of adding images to the left or right element is very straight forward through branding. I have a table that stores my images in my app [Pictures]. When I copy the link to add it to my Header's right element l....https://oldcastle.quickbase.com/up/bpszhrxw4/g/rbk/ek/va/River_Bend_Materials_Vertical_Color_Print_PNG.png QB is chopping off the last bit of the address to read:https://oldcastle.quickbase.com/up/bpszhrxw4/g/rbk/ek/va/River_Bend_Materials_Vertical_Color_Print_P I cannot manually add in the rest of the URL either. Any ideas what is occurring? Thanks
