How can you override settings for those? ------------------------------ mtn mtn ------------------------------ Re: Accessing record from drilldown report takes you to the wrong formFor anyone following up on this, we could not figure it out. We did a workaround via a custom button that we created and put in the reports. ------------------------------ mtn mtn ------------------------------ Accessing record from drilldown report takes you to the wrong formI have a summary report. The drill down report is set to a specific report, not default - the report is "2022 Budget Submissions", which is report #474. When you drill down from the summary report, it goes to the correct report. That part is all working fine. What is not working, is the form that the drilldown report takes you to when you go to view or edit a record. It takes you to the default role setting form. This is... Well, really, really annoying. It works correctly from the full report, but it does not work from the drilldown report. Is this normal? Is there any way to fix it? ------------------------------ mtn mtn ------------------------------ Re: Why can't I delete this form? That was it! Thank you again, Mark. Huge help. ------------------------------ mtn mtn ------------------------------ Why can't I delete this form?I have a form that I am trying to delete. There is no red X for me to delete it, and when I select it, the Delete button is grayed out. I cannot for the life of me figure out why. It is not the only form for the table - it is one of 7 It is not used for any role for anything It is not used for any report override I've deleted all fields and all rules from it I've even changed the name of the form to "ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ" to easily spot it in any role or report overrides. It isn't used, anywhere. I can't delete it. Why not? I'm tired of seeing it there. ------------------------------ mtn mtn ------------------------------ Re: Order Roles Dropdown? Thanks Mark! ------------------------------ mtn mtn ------------------------------ Order Roles Dropdown? When assigning roles, it seems that the dropdown is ordered either randomly, or in the order that the roles were created. Is there a way to order them alphabetically? ------------------------------ mtn mtn ------------------------------ Re: Formula that returns a Field Name? I have an audit log that automatically records every change made to certain fields. Because some of the changes may be quite subtle, I have a field that tells us what field(s) changed, rather than trying to search in the report to see what generated the log entry. Right now that is this formula: List("\n" If( [Old Name]=[New Name], "" , "Project Name"), If( [Old Type]=[New Type], "", "Project Type"), ...) The underlined parts are the names of the fields that have changed, but they're obviously hardcoded text. There are 11 of these, and for corporate stupidity that is not worth getting into, the names of the fields change with far too much frequency. So is there a way to get the field name from the field ID? Basically, I'd love if we could use the new getfieldproperty formula. I'd envision it like this: GetFieldProperty(6, "Field Label") Otherwise, it is another step for something I need to edit each time we get a new exec who decides that "Project Type" should really be called "Project Category" and that it is a critical priority to get it changed over. ------------------------------ mtn mtn ------------------------------ Formula that returns a Field Name?Does this exist? It doesn't seem like it. What I want is a formula that returns the field name. For instance, if I have a field called "Project Name"; its field ID is 6. Is there a function that will return the name of Field ID 6? ------------------------------ mtn mtn ------------------------------ Re: Formula for field name?Mark, does that mean have another field appear to be the title of the Year of Spend field? ------------------------------ mtn mtn ------------------------------
