If no match is found, it creates the parent record. If a match is found, it skips creating the parent record and moves on to add the child record. This works great when used in Edit mode from a single record, but causes problems when someone tries to enter multiple records using Grid Edit mode. Because the pipelines run virtually simultaneously, I have seen cases where duplicate parent records are created. I can mitigate this by adding a unique field to detect duplicate records, but when this occurs the pipeline for that record will stop and the child record will not be created. What is the magic method to ensure data integrity when adding records through pipelines while using Grid Edit mode? ------------------------------ Brian Petzold ------------------------------ Somehow disabled Reports & Charts panel....I have an app where somehow I disabled the Reports & Charts Panel for everyone except administrators (the dropdown does not even appear for users). Now I want to go back and undo this but cannot figure out where the setting is. Been trying to find it for hours now....does anyone know where this might be? Thanks!! ------------------------------ Brian Petzold ------------------------------ Print dialog box changes underlying colorsI ran into something today and am thinking it is so basic that someone else must have solved it by now.... I have a table report that uses a red/yellow/white color scheme to highlight certain records. The problem that I have run into is that when I attempt to print the report, the built-in dialog box below appears on top of the report: When I click the "Print" button, whatever record is underneath the button is getting selected, which changes the color of the record to a blueish color for the printout. The dialog box cannot be moved outside the report window, so there is no way to position it someplace where it will not change the color of a record. I am minimizing the impact for now by positioning the button over the last record in the report and hoping nobody questions the color. Anyone else run into this? What did you end up doing? Thanks!! Because of this, I tend to avoid creating new sandboxes at all costs (I have a lot of Pipelines!). Let me know if support is able to come up with an easier way so that I can contact them also! Otherwise, I am hopeful that someday this process gets streamlined! Brian Petzold ------------------------------ Brian Petzold ------------------------------
