App 1 - Table 1 - Employee names (parent table) Table 2 - States and License #s (child table) App 2 - Table 1 - Job (parent table) Table 2 - Details (child table) Set up app to app relationships so that in the App 2 Details table you can select an employee name then select the state and license numbers associated with the employee, the Details table is a child table to both the Employee name table and the States and Licenses table. A report was created in the Employee table to list only active employees. I used this report to pull the selections on the Details table....which is working perfect. The problem is on the Job parent table where it displays the information from the Details table...it is showing all employees in the dropdown, not just the ones on the active employee report. Not sure if there was a step missed somewhere. ------------------------------ Jeannette Bagnoli ------------------------------ Re: Case Formula not workingIt is actually fruit names and I thought of that so I went to the master table and copied them directly from there. ------------------------------ Jeannette Jeannette ------------------------------ Case Formula not workingI have a formula set up: Case([Commodity],"Commodity1",([Pallet Count]*[Price per Unit]),"Commodity2",([Pallet Count]*[Price per Unit]),([Case Count]*[Price per Unit])) Basically I have a table to table relationship set up where "Commodity" and "Price" is pulled from the child table to the master table. So, once the commodity is selected it fills in the price. To make sure that the total does not change if the price is changed in the future, I set up a snapshot field of the "Price" lookup field named "Price per Unit". For all commodities except for 2, the total is determined by "Case Count" * "Price per Unit". For the other 2 commodities the price is "Pallet Count" * "Price per Unit". For some reason it is not recognizing the 2 commodity names and is only determining the total using"Case Count" * "Price per Unit" no matter what commodity is selected. I have this same formula used in other tables and it is working fine.....not sure what I am doing wrong in this one. If someone has any suggestions I would appreciate it.....need this to work ASAP. ------------------------------ Jeannette Jeannette ------------------------------ Re: Date Column Too WideI am also having the same problem. As soon as I rename the column it makes it too big. In my case it is making it so big that you can't even get to the next column....it goes on for pages and pages about 20-25 (if it were to be printed). I have re-created the report several times and it is fine until I rename the column. Has any progress been made on this?
