Thank you so much for your help! ------------------------------ Prakash Murali ------------------------------ Re: Variable Declaration Error I'm able to retrieve data when the financial year value is static. It does not show any data if I mention the field [financial year]. This is the formula I used If ([Financial Year] != "", (GetFieldValues(GetRecords("{6.EX.'" & "2023-2024"& "'}", [_DBID_TANSIM_FUND]),8)), null) ------------------------------ Prakash Murali ------------------------------ Re: Variable Declaration Error Hi Chayce, Thanks for responding. I have tried your code. Still, it throws the same error. I have attached an image for your reference. Please advise on this. ------------------------------ Prakash Murali ------------------------------ Variable Declaration Error Hi, I have two tables named [Startup] and [Fund]. There is no relationship with the tables. I want to fetch the allotted fund value based on the financial year of the startup from the startup table. I created a query to fetch the fund value based on the financial year, but it throws an error saying undeclared identifier. This is the formula var text FY = [Financial Year]; If ($FY!=null, (GetFieldValues(GetRecords("{6.EX.'$FY'}", [_DBID_TANSIM_FUND]),8)),null) ------------------------------ Prakash Murali ------------------------------ Validation error in YAML I'm trying to import a YAML. Hi Mark, I wanted to display shareholders' records specific to the parent record in the dropdown so that I could select those shareholders' records for another field(i.e. Certificate Holders). Since I can't display child records specific to the parent's record in the parent table. I have tried a different method. I have created a child table named Certificate Holders and displayed it as a report in the parent table. I have used a conditional dropdown to the relationship so that the shareholder's records should be specific to the Startup record. Is it a good way to approach this? ------------------------------ Prakash Murali ------------------------------ Display child records in parent table. Hi, I have two tables named Startup and Shareholder. The Startup is the parent to shareholders. There is a field called Shareholders Name in the child table. I want to display shareholders' names from the child table to a specific field in the parent table as a dropdown. I tried using the option "Values from this field may be a source for dropdown lists in other apps". It displays all the shareholder's records. But I want it to display shareholders' records for specific Startups. Thanks in advance. ------------------------------ Prakash Murali ------------------------------ Re: Quickbase Report Hi Duncan, Thanks for your kind reply. I have found the solution to this. ------------------------------ Prakash Murali ------------------------------ Parent-Child relationship Hi, I have two tables called Keyperson and Startup. Keyperson is the parent table here and Startup is the child table with one to many relationships. I want to add a key person detail from the Startup table (i.e. In Form) without displaying other key person details in the lookup field. Is there a way to do that? Thanks. ------------------------------ Prakash Murali ------------------------------
