It seems like it would be relatively easy and universally welcomed. Re: Boston Qrew Meetup - May 21, 2025 I'm excited to see all our Boston Qrew. See you there! Re: URL button to edit then refresh page Good news and bad news. I had an inkling as we were chatting and testing just confirmed that this is an issue related to the new navigation. When I switched back to the top navigation in "My Preferences" this button worked as expected. Switching back to the side nav resulted in the incorrect redirect again. So, that seems like a solid thing for QB to track down. It is important to remember this is a feature that still in beta, but I'm still keeping side nav on. It is just too good! I'll put in a bug report now. I expect the other weird redirects were caused by the new nav as well. Re: URL button to edit then refresh page Sorry, Coach. I was more saying this in case others were seeing weird behavior. I'm not sure if you have been seeing this, but this week I have noticed that redirects in the app have been landing me in some unexpected places. In any case, this is the code for the button that redirects me to the home page of the app and no longer keeps me on the same page. The better thing for me to do would have been to enter a bug report here. If you don't see anything with this code, I'll go ahead and do that. Thanks (as always!) for your help. URLRoot() & "db/" & Dbid() & "?a=API_EditRecord" &"&rid=" & [Record ID#] & "&_fid_6=Yes" & "&rdr=" & URLEncode( URLRoot() & "db/" & Dbid() & "?a=doredirect&z=" & Rurl()) Re: URL button to edit then refresh page FYI - As of today this is no longer working for me. This worked for a while, but I can only assume something changed in QB that prevents this from working properly. I am brought to the home page of the app using this code now. :( Re: Mobile button save and add I'm having the same issue here. This seems like it has to work, yet it doesn't. Did you ever find a way to do this? Re: change the native add record button to go to a certain form instead of using the one this table is set to be used in view mode. Confirming this was a syntax issue. There is inconsistency in the way that the underscores are used in the field vs. the form identifier. Look out for the use of those underscores. Re: New Forms - Formula URL Button It looks like the issue is only in the preview of the form. Whether you preview from within the designer or from the list of forms in the table settings the buttons do not currently render. However, even if another form is still the default, if you create a new record, then append "&dfid=" then the ID of the form when you refresh, you'll see a live version of the form where the button renders as expected. ------------------------------ Tate Forgey ------------------------------ New Forms - Formula URL Button I apologize if I'm missing something obvious, but as I am trying out the new forms and added the stock add new child formula URL button, it is just text when I preview. Are buttons not rendering on the new forms? ------------------------------ Tate Forgey ------------------------------ Re: Duration field in Pipeline Outlook channelWell, it makes me feel a little better that this is on the fringes of even your vast knowledge. Thanks for the response. ------------------------------ Tate Forgey ------------------------------
