I would like to adjust the column size of several of these reports because I do not have enough control with the limited Quickbase internal "auto" and "no wrapping". 1. I found the IOL command to change the width of grid edit fields here: // Insert where needed $('.gridEmbCell [qbfid="148"]').css({'min-width':'400px'}) // insert the field ID you want to make larger after "qbfid=" // set your width with 'min-width' But what is the command for just a regular table report field? 2. I have multiple tables, as I mentioned. I'm currently using this IOL code to color the top grid edit report on my form (thanks Dan!) - table A for ease of reference. $("table#gridTable_2000 tr td:nth-child(5)").css("backgroundColor", "yellowgreen"); $("table#gridTable_2000 tr td:nth-child(9)").css("backgroundColor", "yellowgreen"); $("table#gridTable_2000 tr td:nth-child(11)").css("backgroundColor", "yellowgreen"); _However, I have two tables below Table A, Table B and Table C. Table B and C don't have 11 columns like A, they only have 3. I'd like to color Table B's column 1 and Table C's column 2. Can I do that with IOL? And if so, what is the command to refer to separate tables? Thank you!Re: Image Onload Technique - Can I color columns in Grid Edit?Amazing, thanks for this Dan! I've been searching around on the forums and I can't find how to apply this to a form with multiple tables. I have a form with 3 grid edit reports with different views from Table A. If I use the above script, it colors the third column for only the first table. Is there a way to control the column headers of the other 2 grid edit reports?Quickbase and WordPress integrationWe currently have half of our data stored on a WordPress site, and half of it stored on Quickbase. We'd like to move to fully having Quickbase be the "source of truth" for our other applications. Is there a way to push data from Quickbase to WordPress? For example, we have recipes, their price, and their picture that we'd like displayed as Products on our website. I have found that we can pretty easily connect Quickbase to view what's in Wordpress, but is there a way to do the reverse, and drive Wordpress from Quickbase? I've heard Zapier does something like this possibly?Re: Filtered Table to Table ImportThe "Cycle Records" table changes quite frequently, and thus is not a good place to store data long term. So it's more than just a "Date stamp", we really need to copy a "state" of the Cycle at a specific time. Because the "state" of that Cycle could change later on, and destroy the data we needed to keep.Re: Filtered Table to Table ImportI should be more clear; I feel a bit crazy because this shouldn't be so difficult. Maybe my brain is broken at the moment. Cycle 1 has 100 Cycle Records. Cycle 2 has 100 Cycle Records. When I hit a button in Cycle 1, I want only the 100 Cycle Records from Cycle 1 to record. For the filter, I can only choose from the Cycle Records table. So what I really need is a way to pass the filter which Cycle I am clicking from. If I try to set up a filter checking against "Related Cycle" I can choose "equal to a value in a field", but I have to select fields still from Cycle Records. Or I can choose "equal to a value" and then I can only choose one specific cycle. Is there no way to dynamically create table to table imports like this? If not, how would you recommend I capture the status of the Cycle Records table. I want to capture the state of this table at a specific point in time, not track every single change in that table. Thanks!Filtered Table to Table ImportI have a Cycles table, with each cycle having ~100 related "Cycle Records". From the "Cycles" table, I'd like to audit those 100 related records. I tried creating a table to table import, but I found I cannot filter on "Cycles". I can only choose filters from the "Cycle Records" table. How can I audit just those 100 records the most easily with Quickbase? Re: Customize Record Picker to Filter Out Disabled UsersI still don't understand this fully. I have a grid edit for a Cycle that is a many to many with Recipes. When selecting Recipes from a Cycle, I only want "Build" recipes to show up, not all the recipes. However, the record picker shows all 2,000 lower level recipes as well. I have a report in the Recipes table that filters the top level recipes. And if I embed Recipes in the Cycle Recipe table (the table that connects the many to many), I can select that report and it will filter the Recipes in the form view. However, I cannot figure out how to make my grid edit, where a user can add as many Cycle Recipes as they want to Cycles. That Recipe field still shows all 2k recipes. How can I select that report for the many-to-many relationship? Edit: Nevermind, I got it, thanks so much! I didn't understand you had to change the Grid Edit section to the new form.Automations turn off after an errorI'm trying to add a value from Table A as a unique primary key into Table B. However, sometimes there are duplicate values in Table A, so I WANT them to error out and not be added to my table. However, the automation automatically shuts itself off after one error. This is really annoying because I still want the automation to continue even if there is an error. For example: Table A 1:10 1:11 1:10 Table B 1:10 1:11 That is the final structure I'd like. I understand that it doesn't want to run into infinite loops, but that isn't what's happening here. Is there any way to do this with automations, or do I have to write a custom script to populate this table with a loop checking for duplicates?Re: Changing the primary key field in a table that already has relationshipsSo my current record ID for that table is around 2000, and the old keys only go until about 1600. I'm confused how to overwrite the Record ID. I have two columns in my excel sheet. The Record ID from Quickbase and the Old ID. When I try to Select Existing Field for importing the Old ID to the Record ID, I get this error: Some record IDs specified were not found in the table. I might have to tell you more details. I've been using this table as a testing ground, so many of the records that previously existed for testing don't exist anymore. Is that causing this problem? But I don't understand because the Record IDs up to 2000 must have existed at one time because it is an autoincrement. The column on the left is the current Record IDs of all the data. The column on the right is the Old ID. How do I overwrite the left column? I feel silly, I must be missing something obvious here. Re: Changing the primary key field in a table that already has relationshipsThe second half of your comment is exactly right. I'd like to maintain the old values and have Quickbase autoincrement the new values. I will try that method, thank you. You are so reliable on here; it's really incredible. /hats off
