There is currently no native Quickbase functionality to generate a PDF at the click of a button. Since that functionality along with other "gaps" is required by many different companies and organizations there arises as a rich ecosystem of Quickbase Solution Provider partners who offer add-ons to Quickbase to fill these gaps.
The most popular add on for generating PDF documents comes from Juiced technologies and is called Exact Forms Plus. There is a demo site here.
