Odd text formatting / substitution on connected table

Question

I have a connected table in Quick Base that is pulling tickets from Zendesk. One of the Zendesk fields is a long text field (description). When records are pulled into Quick Base, apostrophes are replaced with the string: ??TM For example, the word "don't" looks like "don??TMt"

Is there a way to deal with this (aside from not using contractions)? Any idea what causes this? I've seen similar with some CSVs.

I??TMd appreciate any input since text issues aren??TMt fun.

i would sit tight until the February 24th release and then take advantage of the new functions we will get on that date. See the previous thread in this forum and Harrison's response.

ie the idea is you get what you get on the data feed, but rename that field to be [description (raw import)] and then have a new formula field called [Description], with that new SearchandReplace() function.
