Multi File Download

Has anyone come up with a good way for a user to download multiple files at once? I use the extension Download them all, and it works fine, but is not the most user friendly and I would like something that doesnt require my users to download and learn a browser extension.

Anyone else come up with a trick or a 3rd party? I'm asking juiced, maybe they do it?

    I tried a bunch of download extensions and I felt that the the "least worst" was Download Them All. But they all have terrible interfaces which are only suitable for a well trained highly motivated user.  I'd also love to know a better way.
