Unable to make fields unrequired
I have two required fields that have been used on a form for several years. I'm trying to make them unrequired by unchecking the "Must be filled in" box on the Field settings, but the form still requires the fields.
When I look at the field setups, they no longer have the "Must be filled in" box checked, so I know my changes are saved. On the Form settings>Elements, it does not say "Required" in red next to the fields, and "Required (when used for data-entry using this form)" is unchecked. But when I go to the form, the red asterisks are there and the fields are still required.
What am I missing?
