Ability to generate reports that save to .pdf format?

I am currently "testing" Quickbase as I need to find a way to generate letters from a database that can export to a .pdf doc. This is easily done in Microsoft Access but I can't find anything about this functionality in QuickBase. I am hoping it can be done as I am doing a project for a company that needs a web-based database that can be accessed anywhere.

  • There is a wonderful add on from Juiced which does this. https://www.juicedtech.com/exact-forms-plus

The Juiced brothers (Keith and Todd) and great guys, know Quick Base extremely well and have all kinds of add on products to fill the gaps that Quick Base does not do natively.  I implement there add-ons all the time for my clients.  You can deal with Juiced directly for this or also deal with a QSP to implement.  The trickiest part, really in in knowing Word well enough to make the template to get everything lined up nicely.

Thanks for your answer. Is juicetech the only partner that provides such a standard solution or are there other options to compare with

  • I too used Juice because I can combine it with other great Juiced Add-ons, and it has the power to incorporate subtables which I use a lot. Check them out for sure. However, for more general and typical applications Advantage just came out with a stellar add-on for creating forms.
