Add Child record not working
Ok, I feel like I am going button crazy here. My last few posts have all been about buttons. I think they are the bane of my app for the moment.
I have a form that has several Add Child Record buttons.
The typical behavior of those buttons from my experience is that when clicked, they save the parent record (generating the record if not previously generated), and then proceed to open the child record form.
That is the case for all of my different forms, except this one for some reason.
I have not changed the default code of the buttons.
I click them, they save the parent record, and then instead of going to the child record form, it keeps me on the parent record in edit mode. If I click it a second time, then it takes me to the child record form.
I have compared the code of these buttons on this form to those of other forms' buttons, and nothing is different, except the DBID, the reference fid, and the field reference.
Everything else is the same.
I do remember changing one thing in this table that I didn't do in the others. In the properties, I checked the "Show save & keep working choice" check-box. But that shouldn't have anything to do with the "add child record" button .... should it?
I am at a loss of ideas at this moment.
