API_GrantedGroups Problem
Hey all!
I have recently been trying to get all the groups I have access to in order to automatically add and remove myself depending on a permissions table in an app in QB. However I am running into an issue I don't quite understand.
The API_GrantedGroups theoretically gets all the groups I have access to, however, when I call the API, it is only getting me back 1 group, and sometimes I am not even in that group!
The API docs say "Use API_GrantedGroups to get the list of groups to which a user has been granted access". Which leads me to believe that "granted access" is different from being in a group, or being a manager in a group.
I can confirm that I am in at least 5 groups, but none of those are getting returned by this API call.
Does anyone know how to "grant" myself access to a group?
As a side note, does anyone know how to get all the groups in a domain? That would be a super nice API to have handy as well.
