Quick Base does has a Recurring record wizard, that allows you to take a single record and create a set number of copies of a record on an interval, such as monthly. With this you can batch create several years of recurring records that are a copy of the original event. This way you have a copy of the event on each month, so that any specific data that needs to be captured for that event can be put into the corresponding record. This also won't disrupt your current calendar as it won't require the use of a formula field or different date fields.
