Changed my user email and my connections broke, and I cant update my email in the connection?

I needed to change my email associated with my account. I am the realm admin.

This of course broke al my connections. I figured I would just need to open the connection setting, and update my email. However, that did not work. When I try to update my email, it says I can't because I don't have the right credentials. Do you know what is going on?

  • Submit a ticket to QB Support, they will update the user id with the correct email.

      Thanks. I am going back and forth now with support and they are trying to sort it out. Turns out, I can't (even with my original email) do anything to my connections. I can't even simply change the name. They are looking into why not.

        Have them check the external auth id. They usually update the email address but skip the external auth id, which can be problematic.
