I have a child table (Tasks) that displays within my parent table (FWA Investigations) and I can't figure out why sometimes the review completed box will show as checked and sometimes it won't. I included an example in the attachment.
Qrew Legendno problem. I always say that that nothing in native Quickbase is very difficult but you sure do need to stub your toe about 1,000 times to trip over everything once.
Qrew LegendIn 20 years of working with Quickbase I have never heard of a checkbox field not working. Are you actually saying that when you look at a record on the form and check a check box that when you view that same record on a report, the check box is not checked. That seems so impossible.
Mark, I apologize for wasting your time! I made a list of my tasks and what check boxes were associated with each and you were correct, I had some with similar names but I also reviewed and removed anything I had an alternate label for and was able to get them to show up correctly now. I saw this meme the other day and I feel like it applies here...I'm not wonder woman but I'll sure do things that'll make you wonder! Have a great rest of your day!
Qrew LegendLet's start with the basis. Are these manual checkboxes or formula fields? When you look at the record are they checked. Like maybe they are not showing as checked because they are not checked.
They are manual checkboxes. The only difference I'm able to find between the checkboxes that work correctly and the ones that don't is that Task Table In Investigations isn't listed in the usage list.
Qrew LegendPerhaps there is some confusion on field names and you have multiple check boxes with similar names and some of the check boxes are on the form, but similarly named fields are on the report.
