coloring one cell in a report

I have an important table report that I just switched from Excel to Quick Base. In the Excel spreadsheet we would color cells that were empty red... and I can't figure out how to color one individual cell in Quick Base rather than the entire row or column. Suggestions?

    There is no native equivalent to cell colorization in Quick Base. You would need to build a new field and if it is numeric, Convention it to text while reserving the appearance of decimals and then color it.

    IMHO, the effort will not be worth it. I suggest Row colorization.
