connecting users to people from table and personalizing reports

I have a situation where I could use help, and it is related to two matters:
1. I have one table - list of Project Managers. I want to connect them with users (eg. I have a name John Doe, and a user John Doe, and I would like to align them. IS THERE A POSSIBILITY TO ACHIEVE THIS?

2. As a addition to previous step I would like to setup a personalized report, for example, when John Doe opens his report, he could only see his projects.
(since I have around 20 Project Managers, how can I create such report/connection)?

    Hi Nenad,

    I hope you are doing good.

    I believe you have one text field and another one user field.

    Text field: John Doe
    User field: John Doe<Select from the dropdown> it will show all the users.

    Through this, you can easily align a person with the user.

    For this, make a filter like <user field> is equal to the current user in the report setting.

    Hi Gaurav,

    I already tried to make a filter where Transition Manager = current user, but I don't know if there is a function for current user, that I am not aware of?

    No I went to Create table report, and put in all the parameters and info that I need.

    I've found couple of options, but none of them seems to work. In filter I select Project Manager, is equal to, the value, _curuser_ ...... but it doesn't work.

      To use these function, your Project Manager field should be a user field.
